Projects

The Marma J Foundation aims to grow community projects and businesses, with a focus on social and economic prosperity. By redistributing wealth towards projects, community groups, and businesses that align with the Marma J Foundation mission, our goal is to build strong communities that support underrepresented and/or disadvantaged individuals.

 

Each Gitcoin Grants round, the Marma J Foundation will be supporting up to three projects and initiatives. This is a dynamic list of projects supported by the Marma J Foundation will be continuously updated with projects, community groups, and businesses that align with the Marma J Foundation mission. 

Bliss Skateboard Shop

Windsor’s only local skateboard shop is owned and operated by Sasha Senior. Bliss Skateboard Shop services the Windsor and Detroit skateboarding community as well as supports international skateboarding communities such as Jamaica and Barbados.

St. Mutts

St. Mutts is a Nonprofit Animal Rescue mission in Antigua. They are a house of love for stray animals and provide food, shelter, medical attention, and aim to adopt the animals into their furever homes.

Newcastle, Ontario
Project

Local to Newcastle, Ontario, there is a property owned by a couple who aim to purpose the land for altruistic use. The owners of the land are developing projects such as an animal rescue and sanctuary, participating in Forests Ontario 50 Million Tree Program, and more. Our goal at the Marma J Foundation is to operate our headquarters on their land in Newcastle (planned for May 1st, 2021).
